(a) Whoever desires to obtain a license shall apply to the board in writing, on forms prepared and furnished by the board. Each application shall contain proof of the particular qualifications required of the applicant, shall be verified by the applicant under oath or affirmation and shall be accompanied by the required fee. (b) Every certified psychologist holding a valid certificate of registration as a psychologist in effect on the day preceding the effective date of this act shall be deemed to be a licensed psychologist under this act, and such person shall not be required to file an original application hereunder for a license.
