The division of trade development is hereby authorized and empowered to: (a) Promote the export of Kansas products outside the state and the United States; (b) develop and conduct trade development and market research missions to foreign markets and host foreign buying teams visiting Kansas; (c) prepare and distribute an export directory and other specialized product information to foreign buyers; (d) identify and develop foreign trade leads; (e) coordinate with and disseminate information regarding the international grains program and international trade institute conducted at Kansas state university; and (f) coordinate with and disseminate information regarding any international trade activities of the division of markets of the Kansas department of agriculture.
