On the effective date of this act, the following state agency and office shall be and hereby are abolished: (a) The state board of regents created by K.S.A. 74-3201, and amendments thereto; and (b) the office of executive officer of the state board of regents provided to be appointed by K.S.A. 74-3203, and amendments thereto.
