In accordance with K.S.A. 75-107 the governor, with the assistance of the state board of education, is requested to inquire into the matters relating to Fort Leavenworth school district and the terms of agreement between the federal government and this state concerning such school district. In pursuance of such inquiry a renewed understanding between the United States department of defense and this state should be attained, if possible. History: L. 1972, ch. 399, § 1; March 14.
