The acupuncture advisory council shall advise the board regarding: (a) Examination, licensing and other fees; (b) rules and regulations to be adopted to carry out the provisions of this act; (c) the number of yearly continuing education hours required to maintain active licensure; (d) changes and new requirements taking place in the areas of acupuncture; and (e) such other duties and responsibilities as the board may assign.
