As used in this act: (a) "Cooperative agreement" means an agreement among two or more health care providers for the sharing, allocation or referral of patients, personnel, instructional programs, support services and facilities, or medical, diagnostic or laboratory facilities or procedures or other services traditionally offered by health care providers. (b) "Health care provider" means health care provider as defined under K.S.A. 65-4921 and amendments thereto; licensed pharmacist; or licensed optometrist. (c) "Hospital" has the same meaning as defined under K.S.A. 65-425 and amendments thereto. (d) "Secretary" means the secretary of health and environment. History: L. 1994, ch. 153, § 2; April 14.
