(a) This act shall apply to contracts between an auditing entity and a pharmacy entered into, extended or renewed on or after the effective date of this act. This act shall not apply to any audit, review or investigation that is initiated based upon suspected or alleged fraud, willful misrepresentation or abuse. (b) This section shall take effect on and after July 1, 2011.
