As used in K.S.A. 21-5407, 60-4401 through 60-4407, 65-1120, 65-1436, 65-1627i, 65-2006 and 65-2836, and amendments thereto: (a) "Licensed health care professional" means a person licensed to practice medicine and surgery, licensed podiatrist, licensed physician assistant, licensed nurse, dentist or licensed pharmacist. (b) "Suicide" means the act or instance of taking one's own life voluntarily and intentionally.
