Conservators shall not invest funds under their control and management in investments other than those specifically permitted by K.S.A. 59-30,176 and 59-30,177, and amendments thereto, except upon the entry of an order of a court of competent jurisdiction, after a hearing on a verified petition. Before authorizing any such investment, the court shall require evidence of value and advisability of such purchase.
