Kansas Code § 58-2102

Certified copy of record as evidence

A copy of the record of such patent, or of such certified copy of patent, as may have been heretofore or may be hereafter so recorded, duly certified by the register of deeds under the register's official seal as being a true copy of the original record in his or her office, shall be received in all courts of this state as prima facie evidence of the existence of such patent and of such record.
