(a) Any person subject to this code shall, if the conditions in subsection (b) are satisfied, be punished at the direction of a commanding officer if such person induces another person to: (1) Take an oath; and (2) falsely testify, depose or make a statement upon such oath. (b) The conditions referred to in subsection (a) are the following: (1) The oath is administered regarding a matter for which such oath is required or authorized by law. (2) The oath is administered by a person that has the authority to do so. (3) Upon making such oath, the other person willfully makes or attests to a statement. (4) The statement is material to the proceedings. (5) The statement is false. (6) When the statement is made or attested to, the person subject to this code and the person induced into such conduct do not believe such statement is true.
