All information and data provided by insurance companies to the insurance verification system, and all reports, responses or other information generated for the purposes of the insurance verification system shall be confidential by law and privileged, shall not be subject to the open records act, K.S.A. 45-215, and amendments thereto, and shall not be subject to discovery or admissible as evidence in any private civil action.
