(a) Nothing contained in this act shall be construed to enlarge the powers of any insurance entity or to authorize any insurance entity to transact any kind of insurance business which it is not presently authorized to transact in this state or any other state or territory of the United States. (b) No merger under this act shall be subject to the provisions of K.S.A. 40-3304, and amendments thereto.
