(a) Pending the determination of the appeal, any order appealed from shall continue in force unless modified by temporary orders as provided in subsection (b). (b) The court on appeal, pending a hearing, may modify the order appealed from and may make any temporary orders concerning the care and custody of the child that the court considers advisable.
