(a) No person shall install or own any gas stove in any public building, resort, hotel, restaurant, tourist camp or other similar public place in this state unless such stove is properly connected with a chimney or other outlet or combination of outlets. (b) Any violation of the provisions of this section is a class C misdemeanor.
