Kansas Code § 32-1311

Requirements of county resolutions or city ordinances; compliance with act

A county or city may adopt resolutions or ordinances governing dangerous regulated animals that are more restrictive than this act. Such resolution or ordinance may include, but not be limited to, additional animals to the definition of a dangerous regulated animal, additional caging standards, and stricter care and treatment provisions. If a county or city already has a resolution or ordinance in existence that is substantially the same or more restrictive, such county or city shall be in compliance with this act.
