(a) An election to choose three directors in each district shall be held on the Tuesday following the first Monday in November of 2017, and an election shall be held each four years thereafter, on the Tuesday following the first Monday in November, to choose directors. Any director elected in any district in 2015 shall hold such office until such successor is elected and qualified. (b) On and after January 1, 2012, the board of directors of drainage district No. 2 of Finney county, Kansas, shall be elected as provided in K.S.A. 24-139a, and amendments thereto.
