(a) Unlawful disclosure of authorized interception of wire, oral or electronic communications is, with the intent to obstruct, impede or prevent such authorized interception, communicating to any person or making public in any way, other than as provided by law: (1) The existence of an application or order for such interception issued pursuant to K.S.A. 22-2516, and amendments thereto; or (2) the resulting investigation. (b) Unlawful disclosure of authorized interception of wire, oral or electronic communications is a severity level 10, nonperson felony.
