The county treasurer shall take duplicate receipts for all moneys, warrants, orders or other evidences of indebtedness paid out by him in his official capacity, and forthwith file one of such duplicates with the county clerk. History: G.S. 1868, ch. 25, § 71; October 31; R.S. 1923, 19-511.
