Kansas Code § 19-2873a

Conveniences or amusements operated by board; revolving fund; petty cash funds; rules; budget law inapplicable

In the event the board determines to operate food, soft drinks or other conveniences or amusements as authorized by K.S.A. 19-2873, it shall adopt a resolution establishing a revolving fund and provide therein for the transfer of not to exceed twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) from the general fund of the district to such revolving fund. Such resolution may also provide for one or more petty cash funds for the operation of conveniences or amusements requiring the same. Such resolution shall specify rules relating to the operation of such revolving and petty cash funds, and for the audit thereof in accordance with accepted accounting principles. Such revolving fund shall not be subject to the budget law and such petty cash funds may be used without issuance of warrants except for periodic reconciliation thereof. Moneys in such revolving fund may be from time to time transferred to the general fund or land acquisition fund of the district, but after the initial transfer of funds to the revolving fund, no additional moneys shall be transferred thereto.
