Kansas Code § 19-15,126

General obligation bonds for courthouses and jails in certain counties; issuance where authorized prior to repeal of authorizing statute; limitations

The board of county commissioners of any county which commenced the levy of a tax under the provisions of K.S.A. 19-1563 or 19-1569 prior to the repeal of such statutes is hereby authorized to issue and sell in the manner provided by the general bond law, general obligation bonds of such county in an amount which would, together with the amount raised by the levies made under K.S.A. 19-1563 or 19-1569, not exceed the amount stated in the resolution under which such tax levy was originally made. Any bonds issued hereunder shall not be subject to or within any bonded debt limitation prescribed by any other law of this state and shall not be considered or included in applying any other law limiting bonded indebtedness.
