The county of Nemaha is bounded as follows: Commencing at the northwest corner of Brown county; thence west along the base line or north boundary of the state, to the corner between ranges ten and eleven; thence south with the range line, to the first standard parallel; thence east with the first standard parallel, to the southeast corner of township five, range fourteen; thence north on range line between ranges fourteen and fifteen, to the place of beginning.
