Bonds and proceedings under K.S.A. 12-1736 et seq. validated

Any city of the second class which has, pursuant to K.S.A. 12-1736 et seq. , authorized the issuance of general obligation bonds of the city for the alteration, repair, reconstruction, remodeling, replacement or making of additions to and furnishing and equipment of a city auditorium, and community or recreational building and which has held a bond election therefor prior to November 3, 1976, at which a majority of the qualified electors voting on the proposition voted in favor of the issuance of bonds for such purpose in an amount not to exceed six hundred thousand dollars ($600,000), is hereby authorized to issue such bonds notwithstanding the fact that an insufficient number of notices of such election were published to meet the requirements of the general bond law. All proceedings for the issuance of such bonds and all bonds issued pursuant thereto are hereby validated and confirmed.
