Iowa Code § 904.115

Annually at the time provided by law, the department shall make a report to the governor and the general assembly, which shall cover the annual period ending with June 30 preceding the date of the report and shall include: 1. An itemized statement of the department’s expenditures for each program under the department’s administration. 2. Adequate and complete statistical reports for the state as a whole concerning payments made under the department’s administration. 3. Recommendations concerning changes in laws under the department’s administration as the board deems necessary. 4. Observations and recommendations of the board and the director relative to the programs of the department. 5. Informationconcerning long-range planningandthe master planasprovided by section 904.108, subsection 1, paragraph “i”. 6. Other information the board or the director deems advisable, or which is requested by the governor or the general assembly. CS83, §217A.17 CS85, §246.115 C93, §904.115
