Any person who distributes samples of any drugs or medicine, or any corrosive, caustic, poisonous or other injurious substance, commits a simple misdemeanor unless the person delivers such intothe handsof acompetentperson, or otherwise takes reasonableprecautions that the substance will notbe takenby children or animals from the place where the substance isdeposited.
