All petitions, reports, and applications for orders in probate must be in writing, verified, acknowledged or certified, and self-explanatory. If the petition, report, or application is certified, substantially the following language shall be used: Icertify under penalty of perjury and pursuant to the laws of the state of Iowa that the preceding istrue and correct.
