An annuity shall not be paid to any person, except a survivor, entitled to receive an annuity under this article while the person is serving as a state officer or employee. However, this section doesnot prohibit thepayment of an annuity to asenior judgewhileserving as provided in section 602.9206. CS83, §602.9110
