When there isa difference between the given names or initials in which title istaken, and the given names or initials of the grantor in a succeeding conveyance, and the surnames in both instances are written the same or sound the same, the conveyances or the record of them ispresumptive evidence that the surname in the several conveyances and instruments refers to the same person.
