The certificate endorsed by the officer upon a deed or other instrument thus proved must state: 1. The titleof the officer taking the proof. 2. That itwas satisfactorily provedthat thegrantor was dead, or that for someother reason the grantor’s attendance could not be procured in order to make the acknowledgment, or that, having appeared, the grantor refused to acknowledge the same. 3. The name of the witness by whom proof was made, and that it was proved by the witness that the instrument was executed and delivered by the person whose name is thereunto subscribed as a party.
