1. The secretary of state upon the filing of the articles of amendment shall issue a certificate of amendment and send the same to the state bank. 2. Upon the issuance of the certificate of amendment by the secretary of state, the amendment becomes effective and the articles of incorporation are deemed to be amended accordingly.
