Commissioner as process agent

Every life insurance company and association shall, before receiving a certificate to do business in this state or any renewal of a certificate to do business in this state, file in the officeof the commissioner of insurance a power of attorney and an agreement in writing that service of notice or process of any kind may be made on the commissioner that shall be as valid, binding, and effective for allpurposes as if served upon the company according to the laws of this or any other state, and waiving allclaim or right of error due to the filing of the power of attorney and the agreement regarding service of notice or process.
