It shall be unlawful for any officer, manager, or agent of any lifeinsurance company or association, with knowledge that it isdoing business in an unlawful manner or is insolvent, to solicit or receive applications for insurance with the company or association, or to do any other act or thing toward procuring or receiving any new business for the company or association.
