1. A public benefit or religious corporation shall not purchase any of itsmemberships or any right arising therefrom. 2. A mutual benefit corporation may purchase the membership of a member who resigns orwhose membership is terminated for theamount and pursuant to the conditions set forthin orauthorized by itsarticles orbylaws. A payment shall not bemade in violationof subchapter XIII.
