The attorney general alone shall have the right to inquire into whether a cooperative has the right to exist or continue under this chapter. Ifthe secretary of state isinformed that a cooperative isnot functioning as a cooperative, the secretary of state shall notify the attorney general. Ifthe attorney general finds reasonable cause that the cooperative is not functioning as provided under this chapter, the attorney general shall bring action to wind up the affairs of the cooperative.
