Iowa Code § 497.30

Use of term “cooperative” restricted

No corporation or association organized after July 4, 1915, shall be entitled to use the term “cooperative” as part of its corporate or other business name or title,unless ithas complied with the provisions ofthis chapter, and any corporation or association violating the provisions of this section may be enjoined from doing business under such name at the instance of any stockholder of any association legally organized under the provisions of this chapter.
