Iowa Code § 490.1507

Withdrawal of registration of registered foreign corporation

1. A registered foreign corporation may withdraw its registration by delivering a statement of withdrawal to the secretary of state for filing. The statement of withdrawal must be signed by the foreign corporation and state all of the following: a. The name of the foreign corporation and its jurisdiction of formation. b. That the foreign corporation is not doing business in this state and that itwithdraws its registration to do business in this state. c. That the foreign corporation revokes the authority of its registered agent in this state. d. An address to which process on the foreign corporation may be sent by the secretary of state under section 490.504, subsection 3. 2. After the withdrawal of the registration of a foreign corporation, service of process in any proceeding based on a cause of action arising during the time the entity was registered to do business in this state may be made as provided in section 490.504.
