Upon the receipt of any such petition the board shall, at the next regular meeting or regular adjourned meeting, determine the sufficiency thereof and fix a date of meeting of the board atwhich itis proposed to extend the time of payment ofsaid unpaid assessments and to take action for the issuance of drainage refunding bonds.
