As provided by resolution of the council, general obligation bonds may: 1. Bear dates. 2. Bear interest at rates not exceeding the limitations imposed by chapter 75. 3. Mature in one or more installments. 4. Be in either coupon or registered form. 5. Carry registration and conversion privileges. 6. Be payable as to principal and interest at times and places. 7. Be subject to terms of redemption prior to maturity with or without premium. 8. Be in one or more denominations. 9. Be designated with a brief reference to purpose, or if issued for a combination of purposes, be designated “corporate purpose bond”. 10. Contain other provisions not in conflict with the laws of the state of Iowa.
