1. The township clerk shall keep a record of all the proceedings and orders of the trustees, and of allacts done by the township clerk, including the filingof certificates of official oaths having been taken before other officers, and perform such other acts as may be required by law. 2. Township records and documents, or accurate reproductions, shall be kept by the township clerk for at least five years except that: a. Resolutions, board proceedings, records and documents, or accurate reproductions, relating to the issuance of public bonds or obligations shall be kept for at least eleven years following the finalmaturity of the bonds or obligations. Thereafter, such records, documents, and reproductions may be destroyed, preserving confidentiality as necessary. b. Resolutions, board proceedings, records, and documents, or accurate reproductions, relating to real property transactions shall be maintained permanently.
