By order of the court, the wages, salaries, or other income of employed prisoners shall be disbursed by the sheriff for the following purposes and in the order stated. 1. The meals of the prisoner. 2. Necessary travel expense to and from work including reimbursement for travel furnished by the county, and other incidental expenses of the prisoner. 3. Support of the prisoner’s dependents, if any. 4. Payment, either in fullor ratably, of the prisoner’s obligations ifacknowledged by the prisoner in writing or which have been reduced to judgment. 5. The balance, if any, to the prisoner upon the prisoner’s release.
