1. The surveyor shall record a plat and description with the county recorder no later than thirty days after signature on the plat by the surveyor ifthe survey was made for one of the following purposes: a. To correct boundaries and descriptions of land. b. For the division of land. c. To retrace an existing recorded description of a parcel or tract of land. 2. The plat and description shall show distinctly what piece of land was surveyed, the surveyor, and the date of the survey. 3. The thirty-day requirement shall not apply to subdivision plats.
