In any county where there isa county hospital in existence, a health care facilityas defined in section 135C.1 may be established to be operated in conjunction therewith, and all of the provisions of this chapter and all of the proceedings authorized thereby relating to hospital buildings and additionsthereto, shallapply to erecting, equippingand procuringsitesfor such facilitiesand additions thereto, as well as for improvements, maintenance and replacements of such facilities.
