Duties relating to vehicle registrations and certificates of title

The treasurer shall: 1. Issue, renew, and replace lost or damaged vehicle registration cards or plates and issue and transfer certificates of titlefor vehicles as provided in sections 321.17 through 321.20B, 321.22 through 321.26, 321.28 through 321.32, 321.34, 321.35, and 321.37 through 321.52. 2. Collect, pay to the state, or refund registration fees as provided in sections 321.105 through 321.106, 321.109 through 321.113, 321.115 through 321.117, 321.119 through 321.135, 321.145, and 321.148 through 321.156. 3. Collect and forward the use tax on vehicles subject only to a certificate of titleand on manufactured housing as provided insection423.14, section423.26, subsection 1, and section 423.26A. 4.
