1. A vehicle’s registration card shall at alltimes be carried in the vehicle to which itrefers and shall be shown to any peace officer upon the officer’s request. 2. This section shall not apply when the registration card is being used for the purpose of making application for renewal of registration or upon a transfer of registration for that vehicle.
