Colonel of cadets — governor’s award

1. Thecommandantandinstructor ofmilitary science and tacticsat each ofthe institutions for higher learning isgiven the rank of colonel of cadets, and the governor shall issue such commission upon the request of the president of such institution. 2. The governor of Iowa ishereby authorized to annually confer an appropriate award to any outstanding reserve officer training corps cadet or cadets at each university.
