Revocation of license

The department may, after due notice and hearing, revoke the license ifany of the following applies: 1. The licensee violates any provision of this chapter. 2. When the agency ismaintained in such a way as to waste or misuse funds contributed by the public or without due regard to sanitation or hygiene or to the health, comfort, or well-being of the child cared for or placed by the agency. 3. The licensee or the licensee’s agents violate any law of the state in a manner disclosing moral turpitude or unfitness to maintain the agency. 4. The agency is operated by a person of illrepute or bad moral character. 5. The agency operates in persistent violation of the regulations governing such agencies.
