1. After waiver of a child who will be prosecuted as a youthful offender, the child shall be held in a facilityunder section 232.22, subsection 3, paragraph “a” or “b”, unless released in accordance with subsection 2. 2. a. The court shall determine, at thedetention hearing under section 232.44, the amount of bail,appearance bond, or other conditions necessary for a child who has been waived for prosecution as a youthful offender to be released from detention or that the child should not be released from detention. b. A child placed in detention or released under this subsection shall be supervised by a juvenile court officer or juvenile court services personnel. c. An order under this section may be reviewed by the court upon motion of either party.
