The Iowa sheep and wool promotion board established pursuant to section 182.4 shall be composed of nine producers. The dean of the college of agriculture and life sciences of Iowa state university of science and technology or the dean’s representative and the secretary or the secretary’s designee shall serve as ex officio, nonvoting members of the board. The board shall annually elect a chairperson from its membership.
