The name of any horse for the purposeof entryfor competition in any contest ofspeed shall notbe changed after having once contested for aprize, purse, premium, stake, orsweepstake, except as provided by the code of printed rules of the fair or association under which the contest isadvertised to be conducted, unless the former name is given.
