Duty of peace officers

All peace officers of the state when called upon by the secretary or any officeror authorized agent of the department shall enforce its rules and execute its lawful orders within their respective jurisdictions, and upon the request of the secretary such officers shall make such inspections as directed by the secretary and report the results thereof to the secretary.
